Family Wellbeing Lead

Grade 4 starting salary £20,422 (actual)

Permanent - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

This exciting role is aimed at raising aspirations and achievements of all pupils by working as part of Team Claydon to ensure that our most vulnerable pupils get the support and help that they need, as well as their families.  Whether that be supporting pupils to be in school, engage in their learning or help and guide them through challenging times.  This opportunity is for someone that thrives on working collaboratively, has a positive outlook and loves working with enthusiastic and amazing children!

We want someone who is:

  • Inspirational, energetic, with bags of enthusiasm; who has a nurturing attitude and is solution focussed.
  • An excellent communicator with a calm, patient and empathetic nature in order to plan, and implement, next steps that will impact positively on pupil’s attendance, behaviour and wellbeing
  • Experienced in working in school settings or alongside families
  • Able to consistently demonstrate the confidence and ability to manage and support children in a positive and friendly manner whether in groups or 1 to 1
  • Have sound math and literacy skills (GCSE or equivalent in English and Math is essential), alongside other relevant qualifications
  • Have the ability to be flexible, use initiative, work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour
